2024 Call for Board NominationsAHMP's Leadership Committee Needs Your Help!Lead the Industry and Our AssociationThe AHMP Leadership Committee is asking you to submit a nomination for yourself or names of other interested AHMP national Professional Members who are qualified to serve three-year terms as at-large directors on the AHMP Board of Directors beginning in January 2025. As a board member, you'll grow your leadership skills and your network, while contributing to the future of our industry and our association. This is your opportunity to enhance the value of AHMP and impact our role among EHS&S professionals. Submit a nomination by completing the online form. Nominations must include name, email address, phone number, and confirmation that the nominee has been contacted by the nominator and that he or she is willing and able to serve as a board member. Nominees will be emailed Candidate Information Forms to complete and return to the Leadership Committee. You can also download the forms here. Then, the committee will evaluate and determine the slate of candidates to be included on a ballot to be voted on by AHMP members in September. We are striving to match competencies/skill sets to the needs of the organization and present a slate of board members that reflects those competencies. Core competencies have been identified by the Leadership Committee. Please review these competencies below and determine if you would like to be considered for a position on the AHMP board. ProcessOur bylaws-driven process for selecting the slate of nominees for the 2025 AHMP Board is a four step process:
Director-at-Large positions are for three years. Participation in all board meetings and functions is expected. There are typically four to six board meetings per year held by videoconference and one in-person meeting at the National Conference. Submit Your Nomination |
