The Chapter Relations Committee provides an opportunity for Chapter and Section leaders to gather periodically and address the needs of their organizations, as well as sharing success stories with other Chapters and Sections to emulate.

CONFERENCE COMMITTEE
The Conference Committee works to establish robust educational opportunities through the annual conference. Conference planning requires great minds, thoughtful ideas and timely execute and this team works hard to pull it all together for our members.

COUNCIL OF FELLOWS
The Council of Fellows acts as senior advisors for AHMP's future leadership. The Council is comprised of AHMP Past Presidents, Past Chairs, and Appointees to continue their high-level involvement in AHMP by encouraging suggestions on future priorities and direction and by providing historical background to inform future planning.

The Emerging Professionals Committee focuses on the needs of the next generation of EHS professionals in the fields of hazardous materials transportation, safety, security, environmental responsibility, and sustainability.

FINANCE COMMITTEE
The mission of the Finance Committee is to ensure the financial health of AHMP by:
- Verifying the accuracy of AHMP’s financial records and transactions
- Assisting with the preparation of and monitoring the overall performance of the annual AHMP budget
- Participating in AHMP financial planning and business plan development
The Finance Committee meets four times annually in the month following the end of a calendar quarter.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
The Government Affairs Committee identifies and provides subject matter expertise and general industry guidance as well as to track and provide input on regulatory changes that potentially impact AHMP members as they relate to environment, health, safety, security, transportation, and energy issues.

TASK FORCE
The Organizational Transparency group was developed and maintains the objective to provide members transparent communication about goals and activities for the organization and committees.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The Professional Development Committee supports implementation of the AHMP education and training programs and activities by identifying and vetting content, speakers, and educational venues consistent with the needs of the membership and the Vision-Mission-Strategy of AHMP.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of the month at 11 AM ET. Contact the committee chair if you would like meeting information. The annual meeting is held on Sunday before the conference in the afternoon.
